20240711 | Providence and Blue Shield contract issues | Blue Shield and Providence cancelled their affiliation for certain lines of business. Commercial patients are not affected and can continue to see our providers without interruption. Medi-Medi (MediCare) patients will need to call Blue Shield and ask to change their medical group and remain with Thrive Comprehensive Medical Group to see our providers. Alternative medical groups in our area are: Regal Medical Group, Lakeside Medical Group, Optum IPA, Imperial Health Holding IPA. Our staff will continue to advise patients as we learn more about these changes. |
20240502 | IHH Referrals | imperial helath holding referrals - Currently there is a backup with adding patients to their online portal. Manual referrals will be sent to both Imperial health and the patient to keep informed. When patient is added to the portal successfully, staff will send an electronic referral. Resolution: our staff implemented daily faxing of referral requests to Imperial health holding, until patinets added to the portal, at which time we re-submit the referral electronically. Patient will continue to receive electronic communications regarding their completed referrals. |
20240605 | External faxing | Some patient reported faxes not being received by specialists. We coordinated with our third party provider and confirmed that the end fax numbers are faulty. Our system is functioning well. |
